Community Day Project

An Alternative Provision project aimed at Secondary Students in Years 9 to 11.

Maximum group size: 5

What's involved?

Students complete a wide variety of community projects throughout the year. These are likely to include tidying up gardens for the elderly, visiting day centres, volunteering in a charity shop, painting and tidying of community spaces, work with the fire brigade and many more. By the end of the year students should have achieved AIM Awards Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills.

The project runs 1 day per week from September. Whilst students are booked on half termly, in order to gain the qualification they need to attend for the majority of the year.

“Student attendance and feedback is always excellent.”
