“I have noticed a real improvement in self-esteem and confidence in this particular young person. I think this project is excellent for engaging young people and helping them to integrate back into mainstream.”

Assistant Headteacher, Paget High School

Girls Group

An alternative provision project aimed at KS4 students (speak to us about younger students).
What's involved?
This project runs specifically for girls. Students arrive to the specially set up SPA room and first have time to relax and chill out, taking part in reflective and interactive activities and crafts, whilst enjoying a welcome drink and pastry. This is followed by a more structured activity, then a session where students explore all elements of self image and positive friendships and relationships. After a buffet lunch, the girls experience a pampering session in the afternoon. From face masks to fake nails, bathbomb making to hand massage, the purpose is the same – to help these girls to begin to believe they are worth it. Girls develop a portfolio of work with the opportunity to gain a Level 2 Award in Personal and Social Development Skills through AIM Awards if they complete all the required elements. Students can attend for half a term or the whole year. Places are allocated on half termly basis.
