Music Award

This is a half day project delivered in three-hour sessions across a term. No previous music experience is required.
What's involved?
Learners will arrive at mid-morning and set a target for the session before a game together to build team. After this, time is spent completing a variety of activities designed to give them a broader understanding of music. They will also develop the ability to formulate their own opinions and explain why they hold them. After a lunch break, (provided for them), learners will complete a practical activity involving music production on the iPads. As part of this project, learners have the opportunity to gain a Level 2 Award in Skills for Working in Creative and Design Industries through AIM Awards. At the end of the term, they will receive a USB drive with all their work on so that they can show off their efforts at home.
