Partnership Delivery: Stop Motion Animation

As students arrive they will be able to make a drink before starting the session.
What's involved?
Using professional equipment, students will bring a story or theme to life in a creative way, through the use of stop-motion animation. They will learn the basics of all elements – concept thinking, writing, directing, shooting, editing and showcasing. In each session, students will be introduced to a theory element of the stop-motion process before breaking for lunch. After lunch students will then create a film based on this theory. What they learn over the weeks will lead to them making a ‘showcase’ animation in the final weeks. Young people will receive copies of their work to keep at the end of the course.
