Glyn TOMBLIN
Project Lead worker
Glyn comes from a multi-layered work background that has spanned a range of careers that require a creative and adaptable approach to situations and challenges. For the last 26 years, this has been in the education sector where he has worked in mainstream schools, predominantly as a design and technology teacher, but also in a range of pastoral and leadership roles.
In addition, Glyn has also worked with tier 3+ services in Wolverhampton, supporting young people who are out of education and have additional social, emotional and mental health needs. This work focussed on the re-engagement in learning, both in 1:1 and small groups through bespoke project work.
Glyn finds great satisfaction in working with young people who have faced significant challenges in their past that impact their present. His mantra is that a problem is never unsolvable, we are just yet to find the solution.
