Project Support Worker & Volunteer Maintenance
Rick joined Eagle’s Nest Project in September 2024 and brings a broad range of skills, both practically and in supporting those facing challenges.
After a 22 year career in the prison service, Rick set up his own property maintenance business and still runs this alongside his role at Eagle’s Nest.
In his role in HMP services, Rick specialised as a physical education officer, coaching and supporting a range of age groups from 16 & up.
Rick not only utilises his previous experience with the prison service, but also his very practical skills, for the benefit of young people on project.
Driven to ‘give something back’ to society, Rick also volunteers time each week to support with maintenance and repairs around the premises.
